These do exactly what they should--keep earrings from getting lost. The holes are small and if you had to push them into an earring, they might bend the ear wire, so I thread some onto a large safety pin which stretches the hole just enough and they're ready to use when I want them.

They work great on post style pierced earrings. They work ok on hook style as well (although I cut them in half to make it easier to put them on that style). Since I have granddaughters who lose earring backs like they do teeth, the pack of 500 is perfectly sized for me!
I love that they are textured enough to hang onto, the color is clear (not white) so they are less visible than a lot of earring backs. They do not pinch your ears like some of the larger style backs. Also, since I wear hearing aids (behind the ear) I can attest to the fact that they do not mess with my hearing aids - they don't push them out of position or make them feel uncomfortable (if you wear HAs, you know what I'm talking about!).
Now if I could just remember WHERE I put them!!!!!
I have found that the longer length of these earring backs make them easier to use than the smaller ones offered on Amazon. They are much easier to hold, and I like that they are clear, so not easily visible.
As I read in other reviews, they are a tight fit, which initially makes them difficult to put on. However, that tightness makes them stay in place, and as I use them, they get easier to apply, but remain stationary.
These work well, not worried about losing my earrings now! I do suggest testing these on your earrings before heading out, you will find some that dont fit snugly and slide off easily but the majority of these are perfect. I was expecting a few to be flawed because theyre sold in bulk. Overall, super pleased!!!
These are what I was hoping for. I have a few pairs of thin wire earrings (and have lost of few because of loose backs!) that needed secure backs. These work! However, there are a mix of sizes in the bag: you'll need to try a few to find the right fit. Good purchase for the price.

Loved these, they are just what I wanted. I have rubber backs on all my earrings, but eventually they slip off because of the oils in the skin, (lost my favorite earring that way) so I wanted backs that were a little hard to get on but will really stay and these do just that. I am very happy with these. And as another reviewer suggested, if they are too tight for some of your earrings, put them on a safety pin to stretch them out a bit.
Great to have lots of extra earring backs. Perfect that they are also clear backs. I use them mainly for dangle earrings, although you can also add to the backs of post earrings that may be too loose with just the metal backs. I would suggest putting the clear backs on AFTER you put the metal backs on.
This is one of those things you don't think you'll need and then you have them and wonder how on earth you survived without them! I typically don't lose a lot of these, but I have habit of dropping one every now and then. These actually hold on a lot better than the ones that come with most earrings. I also find that I have plenty to share with any girlfriends who need one in a pinch.
I bought these not only for earrings that I make, but to replace the lost backs of earrings I love. I am always losing one earring, so this will stop that nonsense! They fit very well on the wires and keep the earrings in place. I think they will last a good long time, as there are 500 of them, although I didn't count them ; )
These are perfect. I had some earrings that had super loose backs on them so I ordered these. They are nice and tight on my posts now and I don’t have to worry about losing my earrings! They have a great hold.
