I've been working with resin for the last couple years now, mostly with wood.
So this was my first time using casting molds.
Things I learned by using them, you'll definitely want to use a releasing agent. I'm not sure if these are 100% silicone. And with the pyramids and gem shape, air bubbles will get trapped at the tip and under the flaps.
Ended up with bubbles in both those spots even after degassing and hitting the mold with a blow torch.( The mold can take the heat).
Keep in mind, I'm a newbie at this mold thing.
As you can see in the pictures, I think they turned out okay, for the ones I tried.
What I would of found helpful is if they would of stated how many oz. each held.

These molds are absolutely amazing! They come packaged in a cute little box that keeps them safe from getting squished during shipping. The molds are the absolute perfect size for making paper weights and things you can set on your desk but, but they aren't over sized and impractical for pouring resin like a few molds I've ordered online in the past. My pieces came out beautifully and I only had to sand one of them a little and that was the circle mold, but it isn't a big deal honestly because it was barely noticeable and every round mold I've ever had has done the same thing. It only took a few minutes of light sanding and I had it perfectly round and smooth. This set also comes with 2 measuring cups with measurements on them which comes in so handy if you're doing a project where you need to figure out the volume of resin you're using and for making sure your part a and b are exact. The cups also have a little pouring spout that made it so easy to pour without the resin dripping all over down the side of the cups. I thought it was cool that they included stir sticks and a little pamphlet of directions and tips for working with resin. They really covered everything you need to make these molds other than the resin. I took pictures while I was making them, but for some reason they didn't save to my phone so I'll add some the next time I use them. I would recommend this kit to anyone because I absolutely love it and everything was super high quality and thick and not like those cheap molds that come from China that a lot of sellers resell. I actually might buy a second kit just so I can do 2 of each at once!!
The silicone molds require no extra mold release and work very well. The measuring cups are very handy, if you leave resin to dry in it with a stick in it, you can easily pull it out when dry and reuse. I have purchased a few kits from this company and they all work really well. Silicone is much better than plastic molds!!!
While these are well made, they are slightly smaller than I'd hoped, which I'm sure was my fault in not reading the description properly. I know I will get years of use from them, as the walls are nice and thick, and they are pliable. I am looking forward to using them very soon, as my first project will be a paperweight gift!

Note:

How to demold: You can use a mold release spray. If you don't have, you may use a baby wipe or a drop of soap mix with a bit of water as a release agent, work it down to the mold,

I am new to this resin stuff, the pack came with popsicle sticks, skewer looking sticks and the molds. It was very easy to use. I had a hard time getting my resin pyramids out though, only because it hadn't cured yet and I just really wanted to get it out. I enjoyed this and I like the extras (the sticks) they added.
I give this 5 stars.
These molds were great for my experimental resin projects. I was hesitant about 2-part molds, but the sphere held up wonderfully and all the shapes produced a nice perfectly glossy smooth glass like finish. I only gave it 4 stars due to the shapes themselves; the shapes/forms don’t allow the heat from torch to release all bubbles (it present)
Since I have gotten my hands on these molds, ideas are running through my head. I had no issues with any of the different molds. The only thing I need is a pressure pot to get of the bubbles.
This product was what I was waiting for the most!!! However, having just had chemo and surgery a week or so prior, I only molded one, the smaller of the pyramid type mold. I woke up the next day, waited all day, went to unmold it... stuck. Hmm... went to these other molds I purchased at the same time, I went to unmold the leftover resin I had... they came right out. Hmm.
I also made a crystal pendant from these mold and it came out fine, albeit it was painful on the fingertips and took my sister AND I to remove it. I was disheartened by the bigger mold not working and my husband ended up having to cut it out of the mold. It was hardened completely, I don’t know why I had to end up destroying my new mold.
These silicone molds are perfect! Large enough to use for larger projects, but not so large as to require an obscene amount of resin! They come individually wrapped in a lovely box that's suitable for gifting. The forms are sturdy, thick, and super-slick-smooth! Shipping was very quick. Great value, I'll be purchasing more!
