If I'd reviewed these the first week I had them, I would not have been kind. My advice is to give them a chance! The crimp with these pliers is much more firm than other crimping pliers I've used. Not one crimp made with these pliers has slipped lose; these pliers make one strong crimp. Initially I hated them! Because of the three rounding sections, I had to look closely to see where the crimp tube was. It was frustrating for a while, because they're very close together. I'm guilty of beading in poor lighting on a regular basis. Once I got used to it, it got much, much easier.
The quality of the crimp is well worth the initial frustration when you're getting used to the pliers.
these are great!! finally I can do crimps with those teeny tiny crimps and know they are secure. I had the regular blue crimpers and the mighty crimper and they both were too big even tho the regular ones said they would do my size crimps. I thought about buying the micro-crimpers but haven't been impressed with the quality of the usual blue handled ones and I have other Xuron pliers that I love so decided so get these and I love them too! Definitely worth it and this supplier had the best price I could find.
I have small hands and I am a fan of Xuron pliers. They are light weight, comfortable to grip and easy to use to manipulate small findings and delicate wires. The precision of the grooves for the 3 crimp sized is excellent. I never struggle to grease or pinch a crimp with this tool. Admittedly, this Crimping Plier is almost 3x more expensive than generic pliers, but the quality, precision and hand-comfort of this tool make it well worth the cost ,to me.
I have many different brand of pliers and cutters that I have collected over the years. Xurons are my favorites. Even when I work at my bench for 3 or more hours at a time, I never have sore/tired hands when I am using Xuron tools. If you can afford the price and have small hands, I highly recommend this tool.
If you work with micro crimps (or, really, any crimp up to 2x2mm), this is the only crimping tool you'll ever need. Unlike other crimpers I've seen, this one has a very visible and larger "V" shaped notch that allows for a more thorough flattening of the crimp before rolling/shaping. There are also several little notches at the front that allow for more precise final shaping of the crimp. It makes crimping easier than ever.

The BEST crimp tool I've tried! Gives a good solid v where the crimping happens so you can rotate and close the v for a perfect crimp. Also works well closing crimp covers, as it has multiple smaller notches and a needle nose. Nice to be able to accomplish both tasks with only one tool!
With this tool, it will do the best crimping, folding of crimp and placing a cover bead that you will find. I am 15 years into making jewerly and I have to say this is the cream of the crop. 4 in 1 sounds like it would be awkward to use but NOT!
I was able to go down 1mm in size with the cover bead, when desired. the folding is the trick and easy to do. It's beautiful to handle...easy to see exactly what you're doing... I have had crimps fail but no way that can happen with this tool!!!! This is a brand to trust, people...and I'm not being paid to say this...
These are wonderful but take some getting used to. I like that the tips are tiny and often use them just for detail work and not crimping. Practice on some sacrificial crimps of different sizes until you get used to how they work.
I bought these because of the reviews and am so very glad I did! I am now ordering a second pair so I can use one for each hand. When it comes to "my projects", it feels like my hands are 10 years younger! Great tools, everyone should have at least one pair.
No wonder this product's review is so good, these pliers are very good shape in the crimp area. curve just right, and very easy to use, I also like the tip is very tiny so that I can use it to work small area about my wire work. These pliers are dream pliers, and in a very cheap price. Very nice!!!
