I used this to fix my swarovski bracelet that kept breaking on me and I was tired of taking it to the Swarovski store. I went to get it fixed about 5 times and the last time it broke not even a week in not to mention in the same spot so I don't even think they bothered to replace the string. This wire seems really strong and it was perfect for the beads but since I wanted to string it twice it took a little long but it was worth the time as I was very pleased with how it turned out. Going to see how long it holds up.
This stuff is like steal for beading. It's very durable and still easy to work with. I war my jewelry 24/7 and it takes a beating, but this stuff holds up well for a long time. I'll have to re-bead it eventually, but not for a few years of constant wear.
Since this beading wire is the favorite of so many experienced beaders, I decided that I would not scrimp on such a fundamental element for making bracelets and necklaces. As I am pretty much a novice at this it didn't make sense to me to try to saves costs on the beading wire, and to listen to what the more experienced jewelry makers recommend.
Amazing to me is the feedback about how softly this lays and also knots. You would think that by using 49 strands of wire it would be the opposite.
I was happy enough to have purchased the premier brand at such a great price that I purchased another roll (afraid the cost would go up and I'd miss the bargain window).
BEST NECKLACE STRING! I love that they are little wires wrapped into one. My daughter's chunky necklaces seemed to break all the time. I purchased this and re-strung them all. I haven't had one of them break! SUPER STURDY and very strong!
I do a lot of beading and I wanted a wire to was tough and durable but still gave the beads a fluid movement. It is important to know the number of strands (49) and measurement (.018) to get the strength and durability necessary to do beading projects. I have purchased this exact product from beading stores at a much higher price. I will be purchasing this again from Amazon.

We ordered this bead wire because it is the best there is when it comes to making jewelry that you don't want falling apart on you. Very easy to handle as well.
Works very well for my needs: rigging small sculptural elements; it's flexible and easily tied/knotted. The bad: it would be very helpful to have the "break" weight in the product copy and/or on the packaging.
