I'm a professional jeweler and this is some of the best stretch cord I've found. I use it for stringing genuine pearls and gemstones for bracelets all the time. It seems to age well also. I have several personal items I have made with this cord that are at least 2 years old and are worn frequently. They still fit and wear the same as they did the first day I made them, unlike some of the cheaper stretch cords I've tried that seem to dry out and become brittle in a matter of months.
This is more delicate looking (clearish) vs the 1.0mm so if you really want something to look a little more delicate and the elastic material may show, you may want to get this. It's still VERY strong. This may be used to string beads into bracelets. It is not the more silky polyester type of elastic, -- its more a plastic band. You just use a surgeons knot or knot around 3-4 times over and over, then dab a little of the GS Hypo Cement (bead or non bead work fine), let it dry and you're good to go!
Very very good quality cord, perfect for my beaded bracelets. I make a bunch of stretchy bracelets and I tested this cord with different amount of pressures, it does not break. It's been a year since I started using this cord and I had zero complaints about my bracelets breaking.
I make a lot of necklaces and they call for .7 so they don't fall a part and I was going through so many of the little spools they sell at craft stores. Still haven't finished this one.
I've been using Pepperell to make bracelets and I double knot them when I finish I pull tight real tightly and never once has this cord broken ever!!!

Excellent quality. I use this for making bracelets. I had my 3 year old nephew give it a good test. He pulled and stretched the bracelet to the max. It held up great. I already ordered another one.
Easy to use, cut and tie. I made fifty bracelets to hand out at a national conference. I have never made anything like this before and this thread was so simple and easy to hind in the beads.
I'm so excited to find the 7mm thread in a large spool and at a very affordable price! I use this size for my handmade bracelets, so this should last me a long time!
I like this string. Only problem there are parts that are thinner than others so it creates waste. But I'm getting over 100 bracelets out of one roll
Works well.
