I work at a company where I tend to find a lot of the so-called diamonds on the floor and which I got tired of going to the pawn shop and ask them cause I wasn't sure if there were either jiving me or not telling me the truth so I thought it was best if I invest in this diamond tester and at first I started to try it out it wouldn't beep on none of the diamonds that I found. Until I went to work and I asked a co-worker, can I borrow your ring and test my diamond tester see if it works? In which she replied, thats my mother's ring so when as soon as I put it on there it beeped like crazy in which she even told me it was a real diamond and she asked me, "what did it say? My reply, "it's real". Lol
The instructions are easy to understand what to do to get a reading. The instructions on which setting according to the temperature and size of diamond are a bit difficult, especially for a beginner. Also the "warmer' the temperature is so very subjective. I'm always freezing while my husband is warm. BUT I put it on one setting and tested real and fake diamonds larger and small, in settings and out and it was 100% spot on. I just put the dial to level 7 and if the room got a little warmer then I dropped it to 6 and it tested all accurately.
For the price of this thing and it really seems to work. I used on things I knew were real and things I knew were fake. Every time it was accurate. So then i used it on things that I wasn't sure of and it showed not real. I'm confident that it is what it is. I would buy this again

Very good
so far on the ones that i know are real, it say so and the ones that i know are not real it tells me they are not real.... Used on a limited number of diamonds so can't really stand by it 100%... but a good indicator so far
I bought this to test some jewelry I bought in deployment. It works well and is accurate. The instructions are easy to follow. I recommend holding onto the rules as the settings are not intuitive.
