Works, functional and accurate, despite of its high price. I love the rechargeable batteries, but concerned about the thought of how to replace when batteries no longer recharge. The tip cover is somehow tricky to be removed, being careful not to damage the tip. The green light takes a while to light up before instrument can be utilized. Fortunately, the stone to be tested remains stationery and does not walk away.

This works like a charm. I found out the diamond earrings that I bought at Kohls are not diamond, though. That makes me mad. But all of my other diamond register perfectly. It's very easy to use.
Very happy with this tester. So far, works very well. Accurate. I researched many before choosing this one. Same one I've seen in jewelers' shops and studios. Worth the $$
