I bought these for my Girl Scout troop. If you're a parent or leader, you KNOW how fiddly every pin is about staying on the uniform. These hold all pins in place from membership stars to earned pins to insignia. And if I need to move pins, I simply twist the back off to remove and reposition the pin where I need it and attach the back once more. I also used these to hold my large and heavier than normal running club pin on my bag. This pin used to fall off almost daily. Now I have no issues at all with it.
I was buying these locking backs off an auction site that I thought was a good price but we go through a lot of them displaying our Disney pins on lanyards, so I decided to try these ones on Amazon because they were half the price of that other site. These look just as nice and work just as good. Reading the reviews, the sellers often put an extra one or two in the package, so if you get one that is defective, you still get the amount you paid for. This seller/lot is a particularly good deal because you get 60 where other sellers offer you 50 or less, so you are getting 60 for about the price of 50 with other Amazon sellers. When we need more, I will be reordering these again.
These work very well and I made sure to check all 60 backs on an old pin I don’t care about before putting them on my lanyard. Only one back was defective out of 60. I think a lot of bad reviews are due to lack of knowledge how to use these.. you are not supposed to take them off by pulling the top button, it is a push motion if you watch tutorials how to use these you will find they are very easy and worth using to keep your pins safe!
I'm so happy to have found these! I had locking pin backings for my pins, which I have on my purse, and anytime I would go in my bag I would scratch my hand on them. So I sought out different locking pin backs and found these, they're exactly what I needed and wanted and they work awesome! I came across a few duds in the batch but really not bad since you get so many and they're pretty inexpensive too. Highly recommend these!
Purchased these for my military uniform. They work great and I have never had one fall off like the other "damnits". My only negative comment is sometimes it's difficult to remove them pins when you have a thick layer of clothing/uniform in between. I guess I would say it's better to have a hard time to remove it than for them to fall off by themselves. I would definitely purchase this again.

I am a mom of 2 Girl Scouts. They have earned lots of pins (which cost a fortune) and are so cheaply made the backs fall off and the pins are lost! I searched for better backings and tried several things and nothing worked! Until I found these. They stay put!!!!! The backing is large, so not sure how it would work with a shirt that needs pins, but for a vest (like Girl Scouts) its perfect because the vest doesn't touch the body, it only goes over your clothes!
Typically buy these when purchasing a new pin but having extras is handy (and cheaper). After losing a gifted pin almost a year of it being attached I vowed to lock them all. Granted it takes a little extra to add/remove pins when you swap outfits. Peace of mind knowing you can wear your favorite vintage Disney pin is priceless.
Works great! I was having issues with a pin that had just a rubber back that most new pins are coming with now. I almost lost that pin at least twice before I got these. Should’ve gotten these in the beginning. The one that I have tested and use everyday works great. I know some people have said to test them all but I just haven’t done that yet. Will be applying these to all my pins.
Purchased these before and i still have the originals they are great rarely get loose. And it was a great price for the quantity
These work great! It’s actually a pain to get them off anything when you’re trying. I can’t imagine them ever falling off by themselves.
