OMG!!! The locking clasps blow ALL those other wanna-be magnet clasps away! THESE ARE THE BEST ONES out there! Yes they add length... deal with it people. These DO NOT come apart! They are a good size for my dainty to heavy necklaces. I even put them on my anklets. Thank you! I have long acrylic nails and I’ve never had a problem putting my necklaces on, HOWEVER this just cut down a ton of time doing so! I will not hesitate to put a necklace on now cuz it’s on in 2 seconds! I bought those others so I did have a comparison. I just spent an hour putting these on all my necklaces and I need to buy more. Use almost everyday. Wish they were lower in price without giving up the quality. The magnets that are in line with the necklace like these I find to be very secure. Occassion problems with very heavy necklaces. I buy lots and leave them on my necklaces rather than switching the fastener to different necklace.

The two round discs are magnetized and easily slap together and hold until you separate them by sliding a thumb nail between the discs to break the strong magnetic field. The design on the discs is also nicer than just a plain disc. Reasonably priced. Variety of colors.
