Description

Borax is Sodium Tetraborate Penthydrate in granular form. It is used to dissolve oxide and other impurities from molten gold, silver. After dissolving oxide & other impurities it creates a fluid borate slag that can be collected from the surface of molten metal through graphite rod. It is also used for glazing of crucible, Casting Process, with water as a flux for soldering jewelry metal (Gold, Silver).
