Wow this stuff really works! I mean it really does reflect a lot of heat, and does just what it's supposed to. After some use it may form a minor crack somewhere but it's very impressive stuff. The cost is something else, but I'd have to say it more than pays for itself. I can use cheap board to do the job of Duraboard 3000.
I bought this to paint on my graphite crucibles as they aged. It does an amazing job at trapping the heat inside the graphite crucible. Very impressed!

A little hard to work with
Haven't exactly heat-treated yet, but used this on a DIY forge made from a 14" diameter piece of Galvi pipe. It's easy to apply and this pint covered the whole interior of the forge with about a 1/4" layer. Will update as I use the forge.

This stuff is awesome. Totally works. Hotter faster and more even heat.
This stuff is great! Not only does it allow my forge to get up to welding temp but it also helps on saving fuel, I went from about 8.5 hrs burn time per tank to upwards of 12.5 hrs! (Per 20 lb. tank) depending on what projects I take on during that time of course. Not to mention that when USPS lost my original package this seller very promptly sent me out another package within an hour! Great product and great customer service, I will definitely buy this product again from this seller!
Awesome! I was burning up my wool pretty fast. Put a coating of this on it and it is lasting a lot longer and getting a whole lot hotter with less fuel use. I will be getting the metal treatment as well!
Made a huge difference in tge heat my propane forge generates.
i used this product to coat mizzou with a ir reflecting barrier, thin it to paint consistency and brush on the refractory.
