I received my Sunshine Polishing Cloth today and was interested to see if it would clean my Great Grandmother's bracelet from the mid 1800's. I have tried several things in the past to no avail. It was a total surprise to discover that this simple inexpensive cloth brought it back to its original luster. It's gorgeous and I plan to wear it on Easter Sunday. I then decided to clean a couple of handmade (Artist Oirginals) brass bracelets that I quit wearing 20 years ago because they looked so bad. WOW! Consequently I have cleaned numerous pieces of jewelry that I believed I would never wear again and they look like new. I'm ordering 2 more, one to complete my jewelry cleaning frenzy and one to use as maintenance to keep my clean jewelry shiny before I wear it out. THANK YOU ELEMENT!

I am really surprised with this little cloth! So far I've used it to clean my bridal rings set, and it not only shined them to a brilliant finish, but cleaned all sorts of disgustingness from them. I take great care of my rings, as they're "real" jewelry (white gold, diamonds, sapphire), always remove them when doing housework, bathing, putting on lotion, etc. (I even take them off at night before I sleep!), and clean them religiously. Because of how diligently I care for all my real jewelry, I assumed this cloth would shine them up a bit, but never to the degree it has!
Also, I put on vinyl gloves before I used the cloth so I wouldn't inadvertently continue to add any oil from my hands.
I've attached pictures of the cloth after cleaning only my bridal set. Very happily surprised!!
These are the real deal and indispensable in my house. I am a bit of a polishing Nazi and these keep my rings and watches looking there best. I have used them on all metal types, platinum, palladium, sterling silver, yellow and white gold and even stainless steel watch cases. Best jewelry polishing cloths out there, in my opinion. I wear gloves when using them as the cloth has a lot of material in it and it will get on your hands if you don't. Be careful when polishing plated material, especially rhodium plated white gold, as it will polish the plating off very quickly. Also, be mindful if you attempt to polishing anything that has a bushed texture as it will easily polish it off and make the surface shiny. Happy polishing!!
This jewelry sunshine polishing cloth is a must for your jewelry collection. I had a pendant that was partially silver and didn't want to dip it in silver cleaner for fear it would hurt the little stones that make the pendant adorable. When I got the cloth in the mail I used it to polish the pendant and everyone at work thought I had just bought the necklace. It made it like brand new and well worth buying. If you are a jewelry lover like I am it is a must for your collection. I polished up a ring also that I thought was too far gone. Great cloth.
Works wonders for tarnished silver! I haven't tried it on any other metal, but definitely does the trick on silver!!

I've never purchased a jewelry cloth before. I have only used the liquid jewelry cleaner.
This jewelry cloth works well, it is effective, the only thing I don't like is that the cloth gets dirty easily and quickly, so what do you do with it when the whole cloth is black, will it still clean your jewelry?
If then it wouldn't clean it. Iam not sure if it's washable. I would doubt it is, because then I would think it would wash out whatever they use to clean your jewelry.
If not, you will need to replace the cloth fairly quickly, even if you use both sides of the cloth, which I do.
The price isn't bad for what it is, but I would like to find something to clean my jewelry that has a longer cleaning life.
I love these - they are everything the other reviewers say, and more. They clean and polish metals in little time with little effort and do not seem to leave a residue on the metal. Do wear gloves or wash your hands after using because they will leave dirt and polishing residue on your fingers. I dabble in metal smithing and usually include one of these with a gift of jewelry.
ALSO- shop around. These are available from a number of online sellers, some at half the price quoted on Amazon. Depending on what your cost would be for shipping and taxes, this can be a significant difference.
Love this polishing cloth! I scratched my Hamilton automatic watch bezel and this cloth got rid of the surface marks. Mind you, this does not remove scratches but makes them much less visible. A noticeable scuff on my watch was turned into tiny little scratches which are barely visible.
The cloth works well to remove tarnish even after it has darkended considerably, but the visual is a bit off-putting. However, it is an excellent value for the money.
I don't know how this works, but it does. I decided to try this before getting rid of all my silver jewelry. My pieces were in bad shape after being in storage for a few years. I was absolutely astounded at how quickly and easily they cleaned up. My silver jewelry looks brand new - in only a few minutes. Very happy with this purchase.
