I bought this to read the dates on coins and stamping/hallmarks on items etc. It does all that perfect and i recommend this. It not all fancy with ;lights and power zooms but it is just as it advertised and worth every penny and maybe even a few more
Handy little loupe. I keep it in my desk along with the micro tool set. When working on very small things, this comes in very handy. I can actually see what I am doing. With the advent of the laser engraving, the script is so small only something like this loupe will reveal what is scribed on what you are working on. Only negative would be that it might be a bit too powerful when used with larger objects.
This loupe is perfect for looking at coins! I bought for my husband because 6is a coin collector and he said it'sthe best thing he's had so far
This item is all metal except for the lens; very solid with small loop to insert a clip to hang around neck. Good bang for the buck.
I am happy with this loop, it is nice quality and shipped quickly. The screw stay tight so that the loop does not just fall out of the cover like my other ones.

This arrived on time and has provided me the ability to evaluate coins in a way I could not have attempted before.
Sturdy stainless which is a bonus. Arrived pretty quick.
It works for my needs, though I doubt it is truly 30x. Any of these cheapo magnifiers are just not going to deliver a true 30x, 60x, etc. magnification. To get that level, you are going to need to pony up and get the more expensive ones.
Other than that, you can't beat the price for a solid steel and glass magnifier with free shipping to boot.

perhaps not as good as a more expensive one, but it works for me! I got it to look at plants more closely, and it works. I think a different one might have a better field of view, but I do not know that. I am happy with my purchase.
