I was looking for swivel hooks for the ends of lanyards I was making for gifts. Locally I could not find enough swivel hooks at a reasonable enough price. These swivel hooks were exactly what I was looking for,the lanyards turned out wonderfully. :)
I used these to embellish a backpack with a key ring holder. I attached a small length of binding ribbon to the loop and sewed it into the inside pocket (see pic). works beautifully! this way I can clip my keys onto the ring and not lose them inside the bag or have them fall out!
now I have a ton more clasps to work with on future creative projects...thinking I will attach ribbon and loops to a bunch of my tote bags!
a very good deal for 50 of these little guys!
I used these to hang some string lights between trees in my yard. The lights have little eyelets above each bulb holder. the hooks were tie wrapped there and clipped onto some steel galv cable. They've been outside for a year now. I'm sure its not an ideal use but hey, it works.
I only needed four, but the prices at my craft stores were ridiculous. They were selling two of this kind for five dollars! I got these instead so I'll have plenty extra for future products. I'm very happy with the quality and I received no broken ones in a whole bag of fifty! They've held up perfectly fine through many washes and the weight of ferrets.
Ive used a few of these for my badge at work. They make it easier to have keys and a badge at work. Not sure what i will do with 50 of them, except give them away to my coworkers.
