I have big knuckles and skinny fingers. If a ring goes over my knuckle, it's sloppy on my finger. This has been the perfect solution. I put the ring on, then rotate the slinky onto the band. Perfect fit, and no more rotating ring.
My wedding ring set had gotten loose on my finger. So I bought 2 different type of size reducers, one of which is the RingSlinky. I first tried the other brand but found it to be uncomfortable and sharp on the edge. So I switched to the RingSlinky. So far it works great. I did not know how to measure my ring size, so I got the pack with the 1.5mm, 2.0mm, and 3.0mm. I tried one size then switched to a smaller size. It's comfortable, does not poke me, and the ends are smooth and do not scratch my face as mentioned in other reviews. Luckily the looseness of my wedding set is exactly compensated for by this RingSlinky. I'm not quite ready to have my rings re-sized professionally, and this is a great, cheap, and easy way to re-size my engagement/wedding ring set so the set no longer flips around or comes apart. Saved myself a soldering job, also! Added benefit. So far I'm loving this product.
Although a little tricky at first to put it on (I wound it around two rings) it then went on easy. Fast shipping! It is comfortable and hardly noticeable. I usually never take my rings off but I figured taking them off at night would keep it in good shape. I know this won't last forever by at this point I do recommend this product and will buy again! Not the best solution, but not the worst. It goes on easy. Feels smooth against the skin. I bought the smallest sizes. However, it moves. It did not take the size down far enough for me either. All in all its an ok solution. Better that the ones that are long and just fit on. Those move and fall off.
This is a great product! I have tried other ring sizers but they were bulky and uncomfortable and would fall off without even knowing it, leaving my ring vulnerable to falling off and loosing it. These fit snuggly on the band and you don't even know it's there. You also can't really see it like the other ones that made a very expensive ring look cheap. Love these!!!!!

RingSlinkys however, are clear, hypoallergenic, do not require tools for installation, do not damage rings or retain moisture, and stay perfectly installed on your rings until you want to remove them.
RingSlinkys come in 3-packs, and are available in six sizes based on the width of your ring shank: 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 3.0mm, 4.0mm, 5.0mm, 6.0mm. These sizes are based on the width of the ring, not the ring size.
All RingSlinky sizes reduce the ring size up to approximately 1 1/2 ring sizes, but can be cut shorter using scissors or a utility knife to decrease the amount of size reduction if the ring fits too tightly.
It is important for the RingSlinky to fit your ring snugly for best results.
Please measure the width of the bottom of your ring with the MM (metric) side of a ruler, then choose the size RingSlinky that is slightly smaller than your ring's measurements.

This is no toy -- it is a practical, nearlyunfelt and unseen way to downsize a ring of almost any size. Neither plastic nor colored, the RSlinky is almost forgottey its wearer, my partner. It not only keeps the ring well-placed, it ends shaking, vibrating. And it does not scratch bend or uglify the silver or gold ring as metallic sizers usually do after a few wearings.
Easy to apply, comfortable, and almost invisible. Doesn't get water trapped inside when i wash my hands. I'm glad I ordered the 1.5/2/3mm package because my ring is a little over 2mm but the 1.5mm ring slinky fits better. The 2mm slides around a lot. 4 stars because the sizing info is wrong.
I have one ring that is too large in cold weather. I've tried other ring size reducers and they generally pinch or come off too easily. This is a genius design that works perfectly and is easy to add or remove multiple times as needed.
