Speedy delivery in a well protected (double boxed!) container! I was bored, and needed something to do with my hands. Being a combat vet, I figured I would give making something with the paracord I have lying around. I picked up the speedy jig, and am impressed with it. It's a sturdy piece of metal, not wood like other jigs, and is comparable with shackles, buckles, and even bracket-less braiding. It came with three sets of colored paracord (green, ACU pattern, and turquoise, which I gave my wife) and tiny, tiny buckles, along with an instructional pamphlet that did a decent job of breaking down making a paranoid bracelet (there's plenty of other instructional posts/videos online). Great customer service!
Awesome! Having a simple, nice, clean, and strong painted metal one is awesome. Those soft wooden ones are terrible. Worth it. If you want to just put out bracelets, key chains, and dog collars, it is perfect. Also I just made my own attachment for an extension and started making belts and real fancy dog leashes.
I was hesitant to invest in a jig until I determined if paracord bracelets and pet collars will sell in my Etsy store and at local shows. But in order to make a good product to sell, I saw the value in a jig. Based on all 5-star rating, I bought this one. I AM NOT disappointed. It's super sturdy, will last forever, easy to use, and I like the larger size which can accommodate pet collars. The wing nut stays in place. The design to hold the bracelet is interesting... you will need an extra identical buckle to clip onto yours to loop into the jig. The sizing on the jig is handy. I know where to set it to get a consistent length bracelet. The only problem is that I can make bracelets really fast, and had to buy more paracord. It's a slippery slope, but I know I need a small investment to introduce a new quality product to my business. I'd definitely recommend spending the extra money and buy this jig. You won't ever have to buy another one, unless all your kids want one.
Update - I found that to get a consistent size bracelet (with simple square knots), my bracelet length is about 1" larger than the wrist size. The thickness of the knots takes up the extra inch. On this jig with most smaller buckles, I set the length to exactly the length of the bracelet. For example, for a 7" wrist... I make my bracelet 8" long. I set the jig measurement to 8". Apparently the jig takes into consideration the extra length of buckles used to attach bracelet. I created a measuring device out of cardstock that rolls up and the bracelets fit around it. It has marks at the 1/2" spaces so I know what wrist size each bracelet fits. If it's exactly on the inch mark, I list my bracelets as a close fit. If it's just beyond it (because I tried a different knot), I list bracelet as a loose fit. For resale, I make it exactly on the inch mark and instruct customers to order up if they're in-between.
This is, I believe, one of the best jigs on the market. The only caution I would offer, is make sure that you want the extra long jig before you buy it. This thing is huge! It works flawlessly, though, and I don't think I can wear it out.
I did buy the regular sized jig to travel with, and will be using this one at home, but I am glad I have both!
And, the price is great too. Less functional jigs often sell for much more than this.
Go buy one, you know you want to!
Well worth the money. Like many, I originally bought an inexpensive wooden model and quickly regretted my decision. Holds work firmly and high enough to allow ease of braiding. The extra length not only allows you to make larger items (like dog collars) but allows you to work vertically, resting the jig....one end in your lap, while laying the jig against a table top, for a more comfortable work angle. Extremely well built. Unlike cheaper models, the bracelet ends "hook over" the jig instead of being held by secondary clips.....which all to often pop loose during wrapping.

Superb! This jig is awesome. Very sturdy and easy to use. Just finished making my dog a new collar
This is the coolest jig for paracord projects!! It's sturdy and adjustable which works for bracelets and lanyards. I'm glad I got this instead of a wooden one. And an added plus... it came with some paracord and brackets! I'm very pleased 😁😁
I make collars so got the longer jig. It is great., My Doberman wear 18 inch collars and I can go up to about 22 inch collars on this thing (including the buckle). The numbers are true to the distance once you figure it out. Like if you put the lock at 16 inches, the actual hooked tab will be at 17 inches. Once you play with it it starts making sense.
Required New feet was supplied with entirely new fixture , certainly happy with the replacement would have been ok with the feet. Thanks you went above and beyond the what was needed. Thank You again....
