I look for mint marks on coins, I can see them better than with other scopes. The light helps out terrific in seeing on circulated coins that can be very hard to make out the marks. I haven’t used the black light on it yet. The magnifier is in great,sturdy condition, meaning it doesn’t feel cheep. All in all I like this purchase and suggest doing so to others.
I bought this so I can see the numbers on my sewing machine needles. It works like a charm! Has a light which really helps. Also helpful if you get a splinter or any time you need to see something really close up.
