6 Lb Rotary Dual Drum Rock Tumbler Lapidary Polisher

6 Lb Rotary Dual Drum Rock Tumbler Lapidary Polisher

Still going strong! (running fairly steady since Jan.). However, I have gone through ALL of the supplied extra belts. They break after about 2 weeks. You're better off getting O rings to run the pulley. I have been using the same one for over a month. Also, a couple drops of (sewing machine) oil on the motor cylinder helps to run more efficient. It's not as hot; as with running without oil.

I have achieved some great results. But...the rubber rollers kept working their ways to the end of the spools and binding up until I Gorilla Glued them to the spools. I asked the company for help but they told me that it never happened. Tried to order some replacement parts, but they didn't have them product is pretty good, but don't expect any service from the company.

Must've gotten a good one, a lot of reviews were bad for this one, Been running for about two months straight with only stopping for an hour so every week or two for lookin' and then again about a week ago to oil it up. Still on the belt that was on it when it came in. I did make sure it was straight when I got and they sent extra belts just in case (probably because of the poor reviews about the belts not holding up). Love it.

I like this tumbler a lot but it's slower than others and a bit noisey, but I keep it in the garage so it's ok.

Does the job well. Do not overload. Belts break easily so order extra. No complaints.

Description

This little rock drum works very well. We have used it for 2 months and are really happy with its operation. Tight water seals work great. Rocks came out wonderful

This rock polisher did an incredible job for my situation. i really put it to the test too. I had thousands of dollars worth coins that had been burned in a home fire. the banks would not take them because there were so many. they said i had to bag them and send them into a Minting facility. For us to have used the coins sparatically while shopping would have left us with the messy things for years to come. It dawned on me to think about a rock polisher. Prices for the bigger one's just was not posible not knowing the outcome. This dual tanker was the best and about only option to try. it did amazing. Granted it made lots of noise and went through at least a couple of the rubber band things and even bore through much of the drums themselves. It still performed all through the job. it was still lots of work but without this little nachine who knows how long i would have been sitting on these at a worthless state practically. Thanks Chicago Electric Power......I will try to add a photo later.

Works well

Came promptly, works well as long as it's not overloaded! Loving being able to polish rocks!! So pretty

Great the two drums make all the difference you take your rocks out of one slery put the next load in. You have twice the polishes in half the time. Thumbs up.
