This wire is great for certain crafting projects--the larger gauge makes it sturdy, but the material is soft and easy to shape. The flexibility of the wire makes it great for costuming and detail work. I wouldn't use it for anything very large, however, as the same flexibility that makes it easy to work with also means it won't hold a large shape well.
I suppose how well any craft wire is depends on what you expect to do with it. I need medium stiff wire that I can wind into a coil over a form I made. Needs to hold its shape and be kind of springy yet at the same time still have a little bit of an ability to flex. Plus you I have to be able to hand wind it down to a diameter of just over 1/2".
So it does all this and works as I expected. As always one has to be careful not to knick the wire with pliers but atleast there is no color coating to flake off like colored aluminum wire.
So far it has been great...just wish i could find it in longer lengths.
I use it for my bridal hangers and it works great! The brides love them!
A lot more wire than I thought there would be! Perfect for bending and shaping! I used this to make personalized hangers for our wedding party and for my friends wedding!

This worked great for the project I used it for. It is malleable and I was able to use scissors to cut it. I will definitely order this again when I run out.
I bought this product for my DIY bridal party hangers. The wire was easy to work with and is sturdy. It isn't very forgiving if you mess up while bending, but I had plenty to use for practice as well as make 5 finished products.
