My mother gave me a pendant on a beautiful, delicate chain for Christmas. I had to buy extensions because the chain wasn't long enough for the way I like to wear necklaces. The good thing about this set is that there are 8 different extensions, so that I can wear any silver necklace exactly how I like. The bad part is that the extensions are thicker than they appear to be in the picture of this item. In the picture they look quite thin and delicate, but they aren't. I'm keeping them, however, because hopefully no one will see the back of my necklaces. Apart from that, another good thing is that the extensions have a nice, sturdy lobster-claw clasp; this helps me because I have rheumatoid arthritis and lobster-claws are the easiest for me to use. So, all in all, this is a decent product, especially for the very low price.
I prefer stainless steel ring band, chain, closure, findings in jewelry. They are hypoallergenic, (mostly) tarnish free, and stronger than zinc alloy that are widely used in costume jewelry. The color is similar to titanium, a darker shade of silver, very nice. The only thing is that it is hard to manipulate because how hard stainless steel is. Also, the chains are made of closed links. Because of the size of the link, it is not easy to cut in order to alter chain length (it can be done but the cutter must be good and precise).
Another way to use them is to lengthen existing necklaces. I have a few 16 to 19-inch necklaces that I had wished to be longer. These extenders are great at making my short ones longer.
Good for the purpose. I have also used it for a safety chain on my bracelet that the jewelry store wanted to charge me 75.00.
I got these for a necklace that is too short. The chain is heavier than the necklace, so I find sometimes that my necklace is pulled up from the weight of the chains. I don't mind pulling it back down, but a lighter chain probably wouldn't have caused this problem. I love that there are so many though.
I buy these because I am really hard on my ankles. They generally last a day or two before the links pop. SO I HAVE TAKEN to repurposing old brackets that I know longer want to wear as anklets using these extensions. The extensions have never broken and I don't care if the bracelets break . Great deal for the price.

I wear my FitBit Flex2 in an bracelet around my ankle. I use these as a backup clasp along with the bracelet dust to make sure the clasp doesn’t break and I loose my FitBit. These are easy to use. I love the different lengths. They would work great with any bracelet or necklace
I got these because I have a bracelet that is literally 2 links too short for me to clasp it on my own. These extenders ended up being much longer than I needed (and honestly the longest one makes me wonder who would need an extender THAT long even for a necklace!) but they are easy to good and seem to be a good quality.
I purchased these for a particular reason. My bestfriend had just passed away and my mother bought me a guardian angel charm. I didn't want to use a super long chain because I didn't want it to obstruct my view or hit my window. These chains are perfect for my charm to hang down. I love it!!! They are also very thick and durable.
Handy to have on hand, fairly inexpensive. Used it on pendants to pull over my head instead of fussing with classes. Time will tell how long durability and if it tarnishes. One clasp broke right away but for the price, not complaining.
This was a great invention! I have arthritic fingers; it’s difficult to use various clasps. These make it so much easier. Being able to slip the necklaces over my head is wonderful. Such a great idea. I should have bought these sooner. Being stainless steel is an added bonus!
