I bought this to make my own travelers notebook. This is thin enough to feed through the holes in the binder and strong enough to hold the notebooks inside...Perfect!
great price, use it for repairing elastic waist pants for my 90+mom, when the standard 1'' wide band elastic size won't fit. you can run this thru the narrow channels using an oversize needle. tho it's very strong, i used 3 rows in the waist for stability, recommend that, you won't want to rely on 1 row. good too for 'old' sweatpants etc, where the elastic is ng, but it has no 'pocket' to slide waistband elastic thru. get a very large eye needle, and can do large running stitch thru the waistband on the inside and you are good to go.
Great for craft projects, other projects, even used it to tie up a Christmas gift instead of ribbon (maybe not the most classy, but I don't like to buy extra frivolous items that I don't need to). This is really just a fun thing to have around in case you need (although I did need it when I bought it, but I've found other projects to use it for after that project was complete, so it's versatile).

Darice's Black elastic cording is great for creating all types of bracelets and necklaces. The 2 Millimeter size is just perfect for jewelry making. This is a big roll, with 72 yards of length.
I use it for my gold crucifix. Gold chains would wear thru the hoop on the crucifix and I would have to have it rebuilt with more gold. Got expensive. I just use this cord and it works like a charm and lasts about 3 months before I have to do it again. No more trips to the jeweler.
I used this elastic cording to make rubber band journals and it worked just fine. I would purchase it again. My next thing to try is using it on a travelers notebook.
