this only reason i got this is because it was the biggest crucible i could find. I haven't used it to melt metal yet because I'm waiting for the cement in my kiln to cure. I will update this if I have a catastrophic failure, i swear by this.
Haven't had the chance to use it yet but it looks well made upon inspection,
