Yes, the backs are wonderful. A bit plain looking, but oh well... THE TIP: If the hole in the back is too tight, or too small, for the post on your earring -- then get a bead reamer (inexpensive at Michae'ls, Joann's, etc) and slowly turn the reamer in the hole, testing as you go, until it is just the right size for your earring's post. Works like a CHARM.
I used to stretch my ears, so my lobes are all floppy. These keep light studs in place and prevent them from falling through my earlobe. My ears were stretched to 3/4 inch and shrunk down to probably 0g right now... I don't really know I haven't measured them in a while. Regardless I have obviously torn/stretched lobes and these XL backs hold studs in place, both making it so I can wear earrings and hide my weird ear holes.
edit: All of my earrings fit into the hole. I bought these about 2 years ago at this point, though.
These larger earring backs are very useful when, for whatever reason, you're finding it difficult to fit little backs to earrings. These don't "roll" sideways between your fingers just as you're about to fit them over the post. They'll also supply some added support to hold earrings snug to earlobes. With some earrings, the larger backs are visible, but only minimally.
Two thumbs up! 👍👍I bought the expensive option first - $50 set - wasted - not even usable for me. My earlobes are old, stretched out and one is nearly split. These inexpensive, oversized backs work perfectly! 5 Months later I’m ordering more and thought it would be nice to write this review.
Great earring backs! My diamond stud earrings look so much better on my ears with these backs! They hold them in place very nicely. I have purchased more expensive backs that claim to hold heavy earrings and these work so much better and are a better price.

Description
Friction Earring backs slide on and slide off an earring post. These earring backs are a great jewelry finding to have on hand because you never know when someone is going to lose an earring back.
I was considering surgery or a different $50 earring back to fix my stretched out pierced ears. All I ever wear are cubic zerconia stud earrings. And, they were all (even the smallest ones) starting to droop forward. For $6, the problem was solved in seconds. I know other reviewers said the hole in the back is too small. But, actually the metal is just pinched pretty tight on the earring backs. They can easily be opened up with a little bend if necessary. For the money, this purchase should be a no brainer.
These are just what I needed! I have silver ones but the metal is so soft that they get loose and break if you try to pinch them together. They are tight when you first use them. Another reviewer said that her posts did not fit in the holes-I thought that might be the case when I first tried them because the clasp was tight but they do fit all my posts. They stay put and don’t slip off.
Given their odd look I was really surprised at how well and how comfortable they are! I had inherited some larger size earrings and they had drooped forward with the backs that the earrings had come with. These backs are comfortable and have my largest earrings standing at attention.
They are a bit snug to get on but they do fit!
I absolutely love these. I use them for tiny stud earrings that might droop downwards as well as heavier drop earrings to help distribute the weight. These fit nice and tight on any pair of earrings. My mom gave me one pair like 2-3 years ago and I kept rotating them around on all my earrings, so finally I decided to pick up a few more. Perfect!
Really like these. They support my post earrings with no drooping and no allergy to the metal.
