Fretz HMR-405 Precisionsmith Small Embossing Hammer

Fretz HMR-405 Precisionsmith Small Embossing Hammer

For light work you just can't go wrong with the Fretz Precisionsmith hammer. The hammer itself is a work of art. The Rosewood handle and the fine craftsmanship of the steel head are second to none. I work with wire and this little hammer perfect for leaving small texture on a very small surface. For larger less delicate surfaces or something that needs some muscle behind it you would want to go with the Fretz Silvermith hmr 100 series.

This is the Fretz PrecisionSmith Small Embossing Hammer HMR-405, with a handle length of 220mm (8-5/8") and a hammer head length of 65mm (2-1/2") The hardened stainless steel heads are polished to perfection, and the rosewood handles have a special finish that feels downright sensual. No kidding, the rosewood handles and finished so well that they just plain feel good in you hand. The balance is perfect, and the polished stainless steel surface is exceptional. Available in five different head shapes, these hammers are smaller than the Fretz mini hammer line with shorter length heads (65mm vs 70mm on average), smaller working surfaces and thinner handles. The Fretz PrecisionSmith line has the same highly polished and properly hardened stainless steel heads matched with fabulous hardwood handles that make a Fretz hammer a Fretz hammer.
