Very compact, so you can easily put it in your pocket/purse to take with you. Lenses are well protected, due to the sliding feature. It works great! The magnifying power is really good and is perfect for inspecting jewelry and diamonds in particular! The built in light helps and I love that it has a built in UV light to check for fluorescence!

This is so nice (and small)to take with you, and there are 3 different lights in it that are used for each of the different magnifications. I got this to use for iridology and the beautiful thing is the light does not shine directly in the pupil, so it works like a charm!!! VERY perfect for what I wanted. I looked at my jewelry as well and it's awesome for that too!

I have loops but wanted something a little easier to use when I am pawnshop or estate sale hoping. this is perfect. The lenses (three; one large high power and two very high power) have a built in light that comes on when the lenses slide out and go off when they are closed. The 30x lens is larger than most loops which is easier for me to use in the field. Very nice product.
This magnifier was just what I was looking for. I used it to view stampings on the back of my vintage jewelry which are really tiny and have not found another magnifier that would show this clearly. The light is the show stopper on this...works great!
