As described, but it doesn't hold up in cone 10 firings. I've tried it with different things-- it doesn't disintegrate at cone 10 so I have used it for small parts like cherry stems or loops for beads, but I tried using it to support 5 small beads (on an upright wire in a sturdy clay base) and the wire was fallen over when I opened the kiln. It probably works fine for lower temperatures.
Use this wire in my handbuilt ceramic support forms and as hangers in other ceramic pieces, to cone 5 and they work great, will be ordering more in the future.
Created custom stilts for my classroom Kilns with this. Great and inexpensive! It's not a TON of wire but for small jobs this does the trick.
Held up under several firings, though I only fired to cone 06 and the wire bowed a great deal. I will still use this wire, but I would suggest using additional kiln furniture for support for the wire.
Fires great!! Heated with glass at more than 1450 degrees F and held color and strength. Very happy!!

Description
High temp wire 17gauge strong 10ft.
worked great. i use it to keep my kiln softbrick together so i wrap it around . i use the bricks to cover burnerports after firing is complete. they should seemingly last for a great number of years
Worked very well for my clay beads, in my kiln.
Exactly what I wanted. Stands up to high kiln temperatures. Doesn't turn color in the heat. Thanks
Works great with glass fusing
I used this to hold a mold together in a glass kiln. It doesn't spall, break, or spew bits everywhere. Great product, great price, arrived quickly.
