If you are looking for a pin back that won't fall off this is it. BEWARE, if you break off the little part at the back that releases this sucker you are in deep trouble. My wife has arthritis and used a pair of pliers to try and remove this and popped the release part and I could not for the life of me get this sucker to let go of the pin. That is what she wanted but not so good if you break it while it is on the pin. Wound up pulling on it until it broke off the end of the pin where it had attached itself. The others that I used went on and off fine as long as I did not break them while installed.
So far so good!!! I am my daughters Girl Scout leader so after having to replace numerous lost pins I googled for a solution and came up with this!! So glad I did!!! We haven't lost a pin since!! Now the real test will be when we have to switch vest at the end of the year for bridging. I wonder if they'll be easy to get off and if backings will still work just as well. None the less I ordered in bulk so I have plenty for the whole troop.
Work great and a lot cheaper than buying metal backs at Disney. Check them to make sure they work when u put them on. I had only 1 defective one in the whole batch.

Those little brass clips that we’ve all used to before, you know the ones with the two little brass wings that you squeeze to set the pin? Those suck. Please solve that problem.
