Super genius idea! Now when you want to order a ring online for any finger, you can check what you need in advance. Also good for when you get some "custom" ring from a "maker" on Etsy who says they sent you one size and it was a smaller one! (You can test your finger size with this little tool and prove you're not crazy! Yeah, it happened to me.)
My fingers are all different weird sizes, so I think this tool is great! I just put it in my jewelry box so I won't lose it since it's so small.
