Works perfectly in a compact design that is easy to use. Melting aluminum for casting is done easily with this system.
Have melted copper, aluminium, glass shards (to make them safer to handle), tin, brass, and zinc. Still going strong after 5 melts, but you can get replacement parts on their website.
I've only melted Aluminum bars so far but it works well. It heats up fairly quickly.
