RS Mizar M24 Mizar Gold Tester

RS Mizar M24 Mizar Gold Tester

works as advertised, just takes practice

Works well and as described, would recommend this product to future buyers, well made and priced right for this item.

Easy to use, and seems to be accurate and reliable. Sometimes I need to test an item twice, but that might be just my getting used to it.

Very accurate and simple to use as long as you follow the directions very carefully. Great item.....already sold scrap gold to pay for itself!

Bets Gold tester I have ever purchased. Be sure to read directions, and watch the YouTube vid. Cant go wrong.

Easy to use, great tool.

I don't have the 24 but I have the ET18 Mizar that uses the one drop activator and two drops solution and it seemed accurate .One thing I wondered though was when I tested ore that seemed to be with gold in it but it would not test. Is this possible to test raw Gold ore. I was testing some minerals and one tiny piece barely big enough to use the alligator clip on but it tested as ten carat gold but was not gold in color. It was mostly black. I think it may have some Palladium in it. That mineral changes color in some environments. I started saving the same color objects and found two more and one piece was several times as large as the first two. I would like to get the 24 but want to wait a bit to see if all the bugs are worked out and then order it. I would like to know what the two testing solutions are as I am far from home and don't have access to my stock at home. One is Hydrogen peroxide and one is something else please tell me so I can keep testing some minerals I have found here.

it is extremely reliable. I got thisone only because my last one got lost when I moved. The last one worked without any problems for years. The instructions are a little complicated your first time or two, and I think that may have been the problem with some of the poor reviews. It's generally considered to be a top of the line gold tester. It's great that it tests white gold also.

Works great

I just used my Mizar M 24 and it can be a little technical, you have to clean the test well and follow a specific procedure. It does require a special fluid, so consider order extra if you plan on using it a lot. That said, I'm happy with the product and I feel confident in the accuracy.
