These are so much better than the plain rubber ends, which I found to be so thin that they hold poorly, if at all. And they're tiny metal bands that are supposed to allow for tightening on to eyeglass pieces just slide right off the rubber. With these, I don't love the corrugated look to these metal beads' but they're the best I've found, even after hunting through some of the best websites that sell components, which I use to make jewelry. I plan to make some necklace-like chains with these and find them thoroughly up to the task.
I had a few broken necklaces that I attached to these ends. It worked out really well. I didn’t have to throw the necklaces out and my sunglasses now have a stylish chain. They hold onto the glasses pretty well.
Now I can buy any necklace at a second hand store and convert it into a nice eyeglass holder without paying $15 of more for style! I love these!
If you are looking for eye glass necklace replacement loops, these are the ones you need! They do not stretch out, fall off, or break!
