Finding beading wire at the 100 ft. length is fantastic. The reels at Walmart are so short that I run out of product in no time. This longer length lasts me 3 times as long and the price through Amazon is a significant savings.
This wire is a little bit better than some others I've tried although for some reason my son still manages to break it within a few months. I find myself restringing his custom made 26" necklace made of natural tiger's eye, lava rock, hematite and various other natural crystals about every 3-4 months if he wears it every day. Maybe the weight of the beads is too much for the thickness of this wire but I will still continue to use it for beading as it holds everybody else's necklaces just fine. The plastic coating helps keep the wire from fraying/damage for a longer period of time and makes the wire slip easily through the beads. It is very easy to bead, reverse the wire through the beads when attaching a clasp and snipping it with the wire clippers. I recommend adding a decent amount of glue under the crimp before closing the crimp, especially if you are creating a long or heavy piece of jewelry. The plastic coating can cause the crimp to slip if you don't use enough E 6000 or similar glue first.
The wire is very study and perfect to make necklaces, anklets, bracelets, etc.

I love this stuff! I use it to make wind chimes. It's as flexible as the fishing line I used to use, but will undoubtedly last a lot longer. It's very easy to work with, and beads just slip right on, plus it's really REALLY strong! I was so happy with this that I bought a 1,000 foot roll!
