So far the wire seems to work well. The plating does not flake off, which is important. The color looks quite like sterling plate, although I don't think it is. The description says, "silver plated tarnish resistant." This is perhaps confusing on purpose. If it were actually sterling, I think it would say "sterling silver plate," not just silver plate. Also, the economical price did not reflect the cost of sterling plate. Nevertheless, it is a bright, silver-color plating over copper core, which is fine, if you don't assume it is more than it is. AND, I find it difficult to find 22gauge craft wire of this color and quality at this price, so I am glad to have it.
I really liked the quality of this wire. Especially that this wire is 22 gauge silver plated and tarnish resistant with large quantity. I ordered this wire to test its ability an comparison to beadalon wire. So far I have made a couple or wire-wrapped rings from this wire and I noticed that they resemble the same as beadalon 22 gauge wire. Plus I am receiving a lot more wire at a lower cost. I will defiantly buy again.
I used to for a brooch boutique. The wire was stiff enough to hold the brooches but soft enough to easily manipulate by hand.
Good crafting wire for jewelry making and to hold up my clay structures. Easy to bend but keeps it's shape. It's also made in the USA which I fully support. Very happy with this company and the seller.
This was the right size---the gold finished 22 gauge was much larger than this one.

I like wire that is strong enough to hold heavier beads on. I'm into making bookmarks and these silver plated wires do the job nicely. I also use it to make sweater holders. The silver looks nice and since it has to be handled so often I needed the stronger wire and this one definitely does the trick.
