Honestly I couldn't be happier with this pair of jewelry loupes! First off these things feel so heavy duty I honestly don't feel like even if I dropped them I would do anything to them! The large lens gives me plenty of viewing room plenty of visual of what I'm looking at! The reason I chose this one is because the others I've chosen have a large and a smaller lens and this is right in the middle at * 40 and also has a larger lens than them! This pair also came with a nice flip open plastic case that is not the best but it's more than what my others have come with and even came with a micro rag for cleaning off the lens! It has both a dual white LED light and one UV light and I've probably used that for a few hours a piece and still seems to have perfect light but I can't say it much about the batteries they're still going! I have told a bunch of my buddies to purchase these and they are also quite happy!
I ordered these as gifts after a friend saw me using one. Easy to use, the light is bright and makes things easier to see, plus you always have a pocket light too. The black (UV) light is great for identifying stuff (try it on old "vaseline glass" to get that green glow). The 3 button batteries are easy to exchange, you can use paper clip to open the compartment. Just make sure that the screws holding the swiveling cover don't get too lose or fall out (a drop of nail polish or superglue might help to prevent that)

Good value and very useful. I bought these to use when replacing stones in costume jewelry. Works great and the light makes a huge difference. I had been using magnifier reading glasses. There is no comparison. I also used this to help remove a splitter from my kids hand.
I'm very impressed with this product. We bought them to use with a science project using gem stones. These magnifying lights were used to view the different properties. They came with carrying cases and cleaning cloths which was great for as much use as they have and will receive. They have held up great and would definitely buy these again.
I’ve tried a few of these magnifying glasses from other manufacturers. These are the best I’ve used. Only had the a few weeks, but so far....they’re great!
I just use them around the house for general purposes.
