Item has worked well for over 3 months now and no problems at all. The only thing that wasn't clear on the description is that this product does not have a "Laser High" trigger command. But it does have the "Laser Low" trigger command which still makes it work just fine. You might need to reverse the input in your controllers software however to make it work correctly when using an PWM command input.
I love as looking for a replacement power supply for my 40 watt co2 laser, there was no marking on the old one, but the “text” miss print (test) gave me a good idea this was the correct one, it was. It was a one of one swap. Showed up quickly and in working order. I’ll be ordering more laser related stuff from this seller in the near future. The upgrade is the fan the old version didn’t have one and would over heat if you didn’t retro fit a fan for cooling it’s nice to not have to do that to this one.
Looks like a slightly newer model, with different inside components, and slightly narrower screw holes. I had to drill a hole to match the old screw holes I’m my FSL hobby laser when installing. It drills easy. I am on my third one in a little over a year , hoping this one lasts longer.

Was what was expected
Worked better then the original
Works out of the box as expected for my DIY 40w laser engraver. I did receive the described and photographed power supply. The pinouts are correct, although I did not test the 3rd connector with the 24v and 5v power supply. I don't have an ammeter connected so I don't know how many millamps is going through the laser tube, something I need to pickup to make sure the tube is not over driven. The power supply was well packaged. The only minor negative is that the lead power wire is stiff and wants to remain coiled, but really not a big deal, all you need is zip ties. I will update my review if issues occur.
I was very nervous when my out of warranty Chinese eBay (blue and white) laser engraver quit firing. I scrambled to find a replacement power supply. Unfortunately, the original one in the engraver had absolutely no model number or markings. I was literally left in the dark over what replacement power supply to purchase. After some digging, I came across this listing and decided to take a chance on what I thought looked like an exact replacement. When the package arrived from Amazon, I compared the two power supplies. They look EXACTLY the same. Literally down to the misprinted "text" (instead of test) button. This is literally the SAME power supply that originally came with my machine, only with a Cloudray sticker on it. I wired it up in about 5 minutes and my laser was working again!
This is well worth the $100. Especially considering that the package came in 2 days from Amazon instead of being shipped all the way from China. My laser was only down for 2 days and now I'm back up and making money again. Thanks Cloudray and Amazon for saving the day!
Absolutely excellent power supply for your K40 40W CO2 laser. Great quality and 1000% better than the OEM supply. Has a cooling fan for longevity. This plus a new tube from the same manufacturer and the laser cuts through wood at half the power the oem tube did!!!!
