Nice assortment, should work well for foray into craft shows with simple pendants. 10 colors, six of each color. I did not notice any odd or bad smells. Other photo shows satin cord on top, skinnier braided "leather" on bottom for comparison of thickness of cords.
Bought for some necklaces I was making. They were just what was expecting. Came in a good variety of colors. The clasps seem strong enough. I am giving them away as gifts, so I don't know how durable they are.
I purchased this item for a beginner's class in holiday gift giving. The colors are great - lots of variety - very sturdy and the lobster claw closures are good quality. I know my class will love the outcome!
