For the price, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these cord ends. After making about 70 bookmarks, I honestly say they were easy to use and held the decoration very well. I used the 4-mm pieces to finish off ribbons 7.5-9 mm wide They are of lower quality, true, and some of them weren't stamped very well (a couple double punches and deformed pieces) but I only had to throw a few of the 4-mm ends away (<2% failure rate).
A couple of reviews mentioned the metal being cheaper and breaking off when attempting to fold. I think they might be using pliers to make the fold, but a better way might be an automotive crimp tool (these cord ends are shaped EXACTLY like OEM electrical crimps) something like this IWISS Weather pack Crimper Tools for Crimping Delphi Packard Weather pack Terminals or Metri-Pack Connectors. Instead of FOLDING the metal, these ROLL the metal into itself, leaving a beautiful finish and no sharp edges. Also, there is less chance of the ribbon or cord pulling out or the cord end breaking during assembly.
Very happy with this purchase! They were very well packaged, the box was placed in two plastic bags and then each lid was taped down to ensure the findings didn't spill out. I appreciate this immensely as I'm not terribly keen on taking time to sort the findings again. The box is nice and sturdy so I can reuse it and the findings themselves are just right for my use. I tried to capture the excellence of the packaging but my lighting is wonky today. I'll be using the findings shortly so I'll follow up with the results.
These bend very easily. I used e5000 glue to bind the leather rope to them. I then wrapped wire around the ends to make a better presentation. That said I’m new at making necklaces and they worked well for me.

These work perfectly for my jewelry making hobby!
Way smaller then expected, one is good for just one strand of leather strand or something of that sort. I tried to use with a thread friendship bracelet and its tricky because it's about same size as bracelet.
