Good idea. The only issues I have are that from the illustration it is not clear that it is a magnet AND a threaded coupler. Plus the rings that connect it to the "lobster-claw" hook and to your chain are easily pulled off. An actual mini split-ring would be a better connection. But this can be fixed with a quick trip to the fishing-tackle shop. All in all it is a great product and has made putting my medical alert necklace on a breeze. Before I got these, it was a minor battler every morning to put mine on.
I have many of these in the gold color and in the silver color. When you are old like me and have arthritis in your hands, it is hard to hook most necklaces. This makes life so much easier. The only draw back is that because of the weight, they will shift around and want to fall to the front, but I just keep watch for this and move them to the back again.
Awesome product for your jewelry - they clip onto existing necklaces, and you can easily remove the extra piece if you string your own. The magnets are strong (you wouldn't even have to screw the parts together for light-weight necklaces), but with a few twists the clasp will not come apart - the necklace will break first! I wish the barrel had a few ridges to make it less slippery, and don't know how long the gold plating will hold up over time when against the skin on an nickel-sensitive person such as myself, but bought more!

Bought my wife a beautiful necklace, however due to neither of us having nails it was very difficult to fasten the clasp. These magnetic clasps are great. A strong magnet then you turn clockwise to lock it in. I would buy these again at twice the price. They are that good...👍👍

When you are a single adult woman it is difficult to put on a necklace alone. I read lots of reviews of many different brands of magnetic closures that can't hold much weight because the magnet is not strong enough. I kept researching and the ones I purchased are not only magnetic they than thread into the other making it impossible to come apart.
Highly recommend. I bought in silver and now I will purchase in gold.
I love Magnetic clasps for necklaces but with some there is the easy of catching the necklace on something and it coming loose. If you do not notice you can lose the necklace. That will not happen with these. After the magnetics catch there are threads that let you screw the clasp together keeping it from coming loose. These are great for anyone who had trouble fastening their jewelry. I use it for necklaces but it will work on bracelets just as well.
Well designed. The two parts are threaded so it is not completely dependent on the magnets to hold the chain together.
OK if your looking for something simple that works, these are them. Same as what i got along time ago from As Seen on TV. These work because they have a good magnetic and a safety barrel that only takes a twist to keep them from coming off. A+++ and very fast shipping
Plan to buy a bunch more of these to give as stocking stuffers for my older clients. They screw lock and are light enough to stay put - except for small, light, solitaire like pendants, the magnet may move towards the front.
