Needed these for my special pins I put on my hat.
Wanted something to latch on to make sure my pins don't end up falling and getting lost. The pins I have originally came with a matte yellow silicon or rubber like back, which didn't feel very secure. Detail on the pins is a mixture of silver and gold metal enamel (needed silver and gold backs instead of what I had).
Some of these mass sold pins are made heavy for such a flimsy rubber backing, like the Disney park pins for example... Thank goodness for these multicolor butterfly clutches! I love how they lock and hold everything snug and sturdy to my hat! Puts my mind at ease, and plus they are less bulky looking in back now too!
