I used the Silver test to ascertain whether a couple metal detecting finds were silver or not. They tested positive and the color coding seemed to work. That's all I really need for it to do so I'm happy with it. The only negative is the instructions aren't great. Took me a while to figure out I needed a pin to puncture the bottle to get a drop out of it.
