The item itself is perfect but it isn't as useful for what I wanted (to polish s silver flute). There is too much red rouge in the cloth for this and it will probably get in to the key mechanism and cause it to become sluggish or bind. Similar cloths I have used in the past didn't have as much rouge. Otherwise it does exactly what it is intended to do but just not for this situation.
These are very high quality polishing cloths and work great on removing little scratches. Very pleased.
Just great just take the scratches out like it says it's supposed to. Very easy to use. I am very satisfied.
Makes it polished and so clean
Easy to use for a touch up shine

I've been using these shino clothes since high school.... my trumpet has always had a mirror like finish.
I've had this exact cloth for several decades and it has worked great through the years! It is pretty shredded up after all this time, but I found the exact one here and despite its higher price, I bought it right away. The one that is all shredded still works though :)
Used the Fabulustre cloth for years with excellent results so hoped the Shino would perform as well. As another reviewer mentioned, there is an excessive amount of rouge on the cloth which gets stuck in the nooks and crannies of the parts we polish necessitating an extra cleaning step (not to mention the mess of caked rouge falling everywhere).
We soon figured out that there was so much rouge bleeding through to the yellow untreated cloth that we now only use the yellow cloth. Should mention we tried the "Brilliant" jewelry polishing cloths only to find that it left scratches on the aluminum and brass parts we polished.
I had recently bought a pendant that had a high polished copper ring on the outside of it.So I decided to use a so called non abrasive cleaner on it.Unfortunately it left very very fine scratches on it.The kind of scratches that only someone as crazy as myself could see.Or someone who has way too much free time could see.I came across this cloth and called the company and asked if itll work. The guy I spoke to said it should work fine on minute scratches on copper since copper is a soft metal. He was correct, it worked just fine for me,no complaints.Yes it has alot of red rouge. But im fine with that.Better too much than not enough.Bottom line, I would advice anyone in need of a cloth like this, dont hesitate
I had a Shino cloth many years ago but never saw one in the stores when I went to look for polishing cloths. I forgot the name of the cloth and bought others, but had to throw them away due to the extreme chemical odor. Imagine my delight to find this non-toxic polishing cloth in the package from Amazon. I feel very fortunate that they still make and sell the Shino cloth. My jewelry looks WONDERFUL now... next step - silverware.
