Wubbers Wire Looping Pliers

Wubbers Wire Looping Pliers

Have had these & used them for several years & while I do like them a lot I also have a problem with them, when doing simple loops with a bead I consistently have too much room between the bead & the loop for my tastes, they're marvelous for wrapped loops though, I think the curved jaw is too thick to do simple loops directly on top of a bead well, when I break the neck the bead has more slide room than I want. If you're doing them without beads or wrapped loops either way they're fine, I have watched the tutorial multiple times & even with that I just can't do simple loops directly on top of a bead with these. Also I never have been able to play the weird shaped & tiny DVD that comes with it, I just go to Youtube or now Fire Mountain Gems for tutorials for these pliers.

These are amazing! Don't bother with the tiny weird "CD" they send with it that would not play on my laptop. Just watch the instructional video on U Tube, which I did before I even purchased these. Note that they work only with 20 G wire, which is actually good because it holds in most situations. With these I have a whole new easy, quick (relatively speaking!) look to make whereas I always had much trouble making consistent plain loops and instead had to do wrapped loops, which are good for their purpose, but much less flexible. With this tool I can make "building blocks" with my bead units and assemble them and change them at will as the inspiration hits. I thank God for these!

This type of tool is new to me, but I found this one to be to superior to one offered by another source. The other brand came with the round mandrel out of alignment with the cupped jaw. Also the cupped side was too broad to easily "break the wire" when making eyelets. The Wubbers costs more but is worth it in my opinion. It takes about 15 minutes to get the hang of it.

I am so happy with my new tool. It is easy to use and very handy. I can’t wait to get other sizes. I certainly would recommend it.

In trying to make loops with 20 gauge wire, the wire would be moving thus making it quite difficult to make a nice and round loop. For me, it works perfectly with an 18 gauge wire - definitely not a 20 gauge.

Overall length 5-1/2".

Very restricted in use of gauge sizes.

Finally a looping plier that I can use and do things I need to to, i.e, making loops, and wrapping.

Really liked this tool, but I have worn it out and need to buy a new one, I broke it, after yrs of use

My wife does beading, and this tool is a real asset to her work. Making loops is now much easier for her. The ergonomics are excellent for my wife's small hands, and the included mini-dvd gives very clear instructions and examples. Delivery was quick, as usual.

A must have for making wire jewelry. Saves times, and makes a perfect eye every time.
