There's nothing wrong with it - just really wanted real leather. Its strong, dark black & goes great with my medium sized leather crossbody purse. Its well made, well sewn, clean looking, super sturdy clips, great length to shorten & lengthen. I was concerned it wouldn't clip on to my purse rings but with a bit of manly power he got it right on. No one can tell it's not leather unless they feel of it. If I come across another great purse without the strap length I want then I'll be back. The 1" width is perfect, but I would not hesitate to buy it for luggage, its strong yet bends easily. Would love butter-soft, real leather straps, if you make.
Exactly what I was looking for. Very affordable and it’s replacing a strap that is too short on an expensive bag. No one will ever know!
