I used these in my earring making and these worked great! I glued them on using E6000 glue. I let them sit for 24 hours to dry. I attached them to metal, resin, plastic and clay flat backs. I wore one of each type of earring for several days, day and night and these plastic earring posts stayed attached to all the types of flat backs.
I had absolutely no irritation what so ever. These things are great! I had no problems with the post clasps falling off or moving, even being as dainty as they are.
I will definitely be purchasing them again and I recommend that you do too! I am impressed!
My daughter's ears were sensitive after being pierced. After 6 weeks, they still weren't healed so I bought these earrings and within a week, her ears were 100% better!!!
THE GOOD:
- Hypoallergenic
- Healed my daughter's newly pierced ears
- Stay in without ANY worry
- Great for sports
- Got a bag full of these...not just a few!!!
THE BAD:
- The 'back(s)' are tight
- Must attach a little at a time
THE UGLY:
- No ugliness here! Love these little guys
The backing is tight so all you have to do is push them over a paperclip to widen the hole. After that, carefully attach the two pieces so it's not putting pressure on the ear.
*For healing an infected ear*
Use these earrings and apply your ear cleaner PLUS a Tea Tree Oil mixture twice a day. This creates an antibiotic lubricant for the earrings.
- Tea Tree Oil Mixture:
• Tea Tree Oil = 10 drops
• Olive Oil = 20ml
I must have misread the description and you probably will too. These are solid post and backs for those post. The backs only fit these post. I was thinking the post were hollow and they are NOT.
I am in the Army and cannot have earrings in while in uniform (everyday). When I got my second holes pierced i was worried about what i could do to keep these piercings. I ordered these after having already tried some plastic ones from another company that were unbelievably thick and hurt so much to put in. THESE EARRINGS ARE PERFECT SIZE AND DON'T HURT WHEN CHANGING. I LOVE THEM AND WILL CONTINUE TO USE THEM WHEN I WANT MORE EAR PIERCINGS.
Five for now. My son got his ears pierced and i was under the impression he could put a small bandaid over the stud while they heal but sxhool wouldn't allow it. I purchased these and put them in but they reflected the light and were still pretty noticable. I grabbed some. Nail clippers and trimmed them down to just a tad bigger than his hole. I also cut the back in hald and trimmed the ecces stem. After the adjustments you cant see a thing! We will see how this works at school. I adjusted a few eztras and packed them in a ziplock bag in case he looses one. He will wear his reg ear studs on weekends.

Description
These have been a lifesaver! I found out the hard way I am allergic to surgical steel, at least in a healing piercing. I think I can handle titanium but I am not 100% sure. I had gotten my helix and double lobes pierced at the same time. After eventually switching my helix to a plastic retainer and getting good results I decided I needed plastic for my lobes to heal as well. These are slightly thicker than your standard lobe earing. But it isn't too bad getting them through and your ears will be used to it after a few days. You are technically stretching your lobes but don't worry it is still within normal lobe sizes. If you really wanted to gauge your ears this would be a great place to start if you want to go really slowly. Like others have said the backs tend to fall off when I sleep, not that often though I sleep with a travel pillow so I usually don't move around too much. On occasion the whole earing has come out when I slept or when I stupidly wacked my ear during the day. Overall I am happy with these. They are a life saver if you are allergic to metal or are not sure which ones and don't want to risk it. You have a done so if they do fall out and you lose them you are fine, I usually keep extras with me. You can also trim the earing and backing if necessary. They are pretty long which is good for swollen ears. They also are really hard to notice so they are good if you are trying to hide a piercing. Most people don't notice them.
So basically if you are super allergic to metal get these, just know they may fall out but when you have no other options this is your best bet.
In the picture the tiny dot is where the earing is above the hoop in my lobe. Excuse the nasty cartilage bump a friend thought it was a great idea to wack me in the ear not realizing I had a piercing there. It got better after time and putting in a plastic retainer.
Fast shipment! Got these to glue tiny rinestones to make earings for sensitive ears. Some of the sides you may have to file down as there's some extra plastic but worth it! Tiny for small earrings. My ears don't itch now. Can use plain to keep your holes open or if have multiple earrings and just want to use one pair! I just ordered 2 more packs! I use flatter plastic backs they look like little tire wheels as i find them more comfortable breathable!
I got a double helix piercing a couple months ago, and just got hired at a place that requires "no more than one piercing per ear." These earrings came quickly and there are so many of them! I read that other peole had cut these down smaller, so I did the same thing. The backs were also a little big, so I cut those down as well. They were easy to put in and they have stayed in great over night and in the shower. You have to look closely to see them at all. Just what I needed!
My daughter is involved with a dance troupe that requires girls to wear no earrings for performances. Though she'd had her ears pierced seven months before our big production, they were slow to heal due to metal sensitivities. These helped her ears heal better, and they are practically invisible, so they make a great place holder when she can't wear earrings. Older dancers who had their piercings close up during production when they were younger told me that they wished these were available to them when they were kids.
lol I used this because my job doesn't allow earring, so it hides very well in the public eye. Only reason I have is because I recent pierce my ears and I have to have it on for at least 8 month. Though the back clip is always falling off. Thank god I have like 12345643829 of them.
