Very easy to use, it's like writing with a pen that vibrates a little bit. I'm waiting for my blanks now so I can do cool things with it, so far I've been engraving everything I could find around my house, yes plastic and wood too lol. Just be sure you know this engraves, it doesn't stamp or burn, which I didn't know the difference of so I thought the color would be darker when I use this, but it isn't, it's like you're cutting through something with a vibrating razor. Anyway I like it a a lot and very very good price!! Thank you!

Perfect little pen for engraving, I spent about two or three hours putting my name on tools and everything else that I got my hands on, such as work cups, wood bird feeders, plastic ink pens, I went overboard but it works great and it’s quiet,

Boy! Hang on to your hat! This tool is sensitive and powerful! It works like a charm! I would suggest you practice with the engraving tool before taking off!
I put in batteries and immediately began using this tool. It is awesome. I labeled most everything that was wood, metal and glass in my house just to get practice.
