Meh it's okay. Was quite inexpensive so can't really complain. If anything I know now to spend more and look for something with a larger viewing area and less constricting means of seeing the viewing area.
So for the money it works well enough. It takes a while a some weirdly close positions to view through it however. I've had to replace the batteries at an additional $8 bucks within a few weeks so keep that in mind also.
Either way if you know what you're getting this will be a good buy.
THIS IS PERFECT FOR READING MY iPHONE AND MAIL. I HAVE LIMITED VISION AND NEED SOMETHING THIS STRONG TO HELP ME. I HAVE A LOT OF MAGNIFYING AIDS AROUND THE HOUSE, BUY SOMETIMES THEY ARE JUST NOT ENOUGH. THIS ONE CAME TODAY, AND I ORDERED TWO MORE. IT ARRIVED ON TIME; CAME IN A PLASTIC PROTECTOR BOX AND A NICE INNER BOX.
Wasn't sure if this could be used in lieu of a jewelers loupe, yet that's why I bought it. It's nice, compact and after testing it's magnification on a ring, it will serve its purpose, getting up close and personal with gemstone jewelry for fractures, and or
inclusions. I like the LED light too.

This was a great gift to give to a student who gave me fossil from Michigan. I bought her this viewer so she could look at it closer. It's wonderful for that, and she was happy with it.
Great item with the help of the light. But be careful, the light is so bright it can hurt your eyes. But great to have if you need to see things up close and personal like rings, watches, small items, etc etc
