I just got into metal stamping and decided to take a risk and buy this kit since it was cheaper then the others. I haven't used everything in the kit yet but so far all that I've used is awesome! I recommend this for anyone starting out with metal stamping that doesn't want to spend a ton, even though this is soooo worth it! I was shocked by how nice and good quality everything was. I'll be buying more supplies from here in the future when I need them.
Stamps aren't labeled with what font they are (although that doesn't seem to be unique to this set.) I haven't used everything, but I'm happy with what I have so far. Since it is a starter kit, I expected there to be some sort of instructions or labels on what the tools are.
The ONLY issue I could find with any of the pieces was the oily residue on the block (which is a very heavy duty piece). My guess is it helps to keep the tags from sliding during use. GREAT kit. Highly recommend for a starter set.
Good, heavyweight kit. I am a beginner and have enjoyed using this. Everything was packed tightly, no damages.
