I'm a college engineering student and I am taking a circuit class in which we do a lot of wire stripping and maneuvering. This tool has made it much easier to hold the wires as I strip them, and more importantly has made it much easier to move a wire and bend it as desired when working with a large concentration of wires. I have only been using them for a few weeks, but so far there has been no bending or damage to the pliers. I have not used them for anything more severe than holding thin wires as they are stripped, but for my purposes they have proved to be exactly what I needed.
These cutters have an actual spring in them, not like in the picture. The metal is a bit corroded and the lubricating oil on it seems to have gotten a bit sticky - it looks like it was sitting on a shelf for a long time. That being said, the cutters seem sharp and the blades align perfectly. They might just need a quick clean-up and they should be fine.
Nice for my purpose, which is to change guitar strings.
This requires small pliers with good sharp cutters and a stiff, inflexible nose to pull out bridge pins or make other minor adjustments.
The spring loaded handles are a nice touch, too, as they make frequent actions, such as cutting off old strings or trimming new ones, easier and more convenient. I have a couple of these to carry in cases or use at home. No problems with any operation, but I'm using these only for this single application.
I got these for jewelry making and they are great for picking up and gripping tiny findings. Just what I was looking for.
These wire cutters are extremely sharp. I did not buy them for crafting I actually bought them to trim my toenails. Frequently toenail clippers to a number on my toes but I found that these work better than professional toenail clippers.

Works great for removing zipper teeth. The spring loaded feature is a must and it's just the right size for easy maneuverability.
