For what it is, this furnace is excellent. Puts out a huge amount of heat and has decent retention. Gets to brass melting temperatures in minutes and is big enough to accommodate a good sized crucible. Some people seem to have a problem with the burner; you need to unscrew the air intake in order to use this properly.
Forge is everything I expected. Very pleased with the build quality.
Manual is well written, but missing from the package and shown in the illustrations is a large band clamp to secure the ceramic wool to the burner.
It's a cheap and easy fix, but probably should be included.
