Description
BRIGHT NICKEL ELECTROPLATING SOLUTION imparts a bright nickel electroplate when used in accordance with the fallowing instructions. The recommended plating bath temperature is 70 F to 75 F. Nickel plate articles using 2 volts or 10 to 20 amps per square foot. Articles to be plated must be cleaned before plating. Extra care is necessary to insure the removal of all polishing rouge, oil, grease, finger prints, etc. For best results, the pieces to be plated should be cleaned at 5-6 volts in a KROHN TIVACLEAN solution (8 Oz per Gallon of water heated to 160 - 180 F) Fallowed by a clod water rinse. This solution imparts a bright mirror-like finish and can be used as an underplate for rhodium, gold, and silver electroplating. This solution is non-hazardous to ship.
